Project Description
GLECEX develops several R+D+i projects offering technological support to companies in the food and cosmetic sector, as well as to technology centers and universities. To this end, it is important that companies support the scientific team through funding so that they can continue to develop solutions adapted to the current demands of the companies.
Description of the Area of Activity / Technology
The interdisciplinary capacity of our scientific team allows us to develop turnkey solutions for the specific needs of each company and to provide personalized services with a high technological content:
Enzyme inhibition assays related to the metabolic syndrome (anti-diabetic, anti-hypertensive, anti-hyperlipidemic, anti-hypercholesterolemic, anti-inflammatory, …):
- Development of bioactive compound extraction processes with emerging technologies (supercritical fluid extraction, subcritical water extraction, etc.)
- Chemical characterization of natural extracts and determination of biological activities
Ensayos de eficacia cosmética (anti-aging, whitening, anti-wrinkle, anti-inflammatory,…)
- Aplicación de nuevos ingredientes naturales en el desarrollo de productos funcionales con propiedades saludables
- Optimización y desarrollo de procesos fermentativos en alimentación y cosmética
