Project Description

BFlow provides microfluidic devices for preclinical drug validation by laboratories and pharmaceutical companies. These devices allow a better discrimination of molecules with a probable in vivo activity, with the consequent saving in time to the market of the molecule and experimental costs.

Description of the Area of Activity / Technology

BFlow focuses its development line on two lines, on one hand, custom designed microfluidic devices and circular section, and on the other hand, complete organ-on-a-chip solutions tailored to the customer’s needs, which include: microfluidic device, flow dynamics simulation and cell culture instructions to optimize pre-clinical studies.

The financial need is around 170k euros, this will allow the development group to develop:

• Complete organ-on-a-chip solutions with cell culture
• Development of wound healing devices
• Development of applications for the detection and exploitation of valuable minerals in mine waste.
