Welcome to the web portal of biotechnology research results in the Euroregion Galicia – North Portugal. This portal aims to disseminate the results of biotechnological research from research entities and also from startup companies that have the potential to transfer and reach the market. It also has a directory of investors interested in investing in certain markets research results and technologies. In short, it is a meeting point between research and startup entities and investment entities in this territory and others specialized in the biotechnology field.

This tool is intended to support companies and entrepreneurs in the biotech sector in accessing sources of funding for the implementation, consolidation or scaling up of their business projects.

An action of the CT-BIO Project

This portal is a planned action of the CT-BIO project, whose final objective is to improve business competitiveness and consolidation of the biotech and life sciences sector in the cross-border region with a joint roadmap and based on collaboration and cooperation between actors and companies on both sides of the border. In particular, it is part of Activity 3 “Access to funding for start-up and up-scaling of biotech projects”.

This action has been developed by the Consorcio de la Zona Franca de Vigo, partner of the CT-BIO project and counts on the collaboration of the rest of the partners of the partnership from Galicia and the North of Portugal: Universidad de Santiago de Compostela, BIOGA – Cluster Tecnológico Empresarial de las Ciencias de la Vida, Universidade do Minho, P-Bio – Associação Portuguesa de Bioindústrias and INL – International Iberian Nanotechnology Laboratory.
