Description
IDIS is one of the 13 health research institutes accredited throughout the state by the Carlos III Health Institute and the only one in Galicia with such recognition. It is configured as a system of innovation and knowledge transfer of a markedly translational nature, taking advantage of and expanding the historical collaboration and the enormous potential for synergies between the University of Santiago de Compostela and the University Hospital Complex of Santiago, entities to which the more than 50 research groups of the Institute are linked.
