Description

The Universidade da Coruña (UDC) promotes this research center to host research groups working on projects related to research in the chemical and biological sciences.

It is within this framework of promoting research activity that the UDC, in seeking to strengthen relationships between university research and business, houses interdisciplinary research groups and teams in the chemical, biological, environmental, in the CICA laboratories, with the following basic objectives:

  • The development of research projects financed by both public and private agencies, as well as companies.
  • The transfer of research results within the framework of their intellectual protection.
  • The training of research personnel, both national and international collaboration between different groups and reference research centers.
  • The dissemination of results through publications, doctoral theses, scientific meetings and activities aimed at the community.
