The Campus of International Excellence, Campus do Mar, represents an R&D network of more than 3,500 researchers from 25 institutions in the area of ​​Marine Sciences and Technologies, implemented throughout the Galicia-Northern Portugal Euroregion, whose objective is train the best professionals and researchers, generate quality research with international impact and provide the industry with the best tools to compete on a global scale.

Since obtaining the CEI-R seal of excellence in 2010, Campus do Mar has worked to position itself as an aggregator of the marine and maritime interests of the Euroregion and as an international reference on knowledge of the oceans.
