Inclita Seaweed Solutions (ISS) was born based on scientific knowledge in the areas of marine biotechnology and macroalgae production, and is profoundly client oriented. The ISS emerged from the work of two researchers and the joint vision and knowledge of two other business partners, and was awarded the title of CIIMAR’s first spin-off.

The company’s goal is to develop innovative, healthy and environmentally sustainable solutions with a positive global impact on the economy, society and the environment, thus maintaining its ambition to act as a Profit Corporation (B Corp).

ISS is a biotechnology start-up dedicated to the sustainable development, production, valorization and commercialization of functional algae extracts for the food, nutraceutical and cosmetic industries, tailored to the client’s needs.

We are currently working to provide our customers with the desired ingredient from algae extracts (e.g. specific mineral), characteristic (e.g. colour) and/or bioactivity (e.g. antioxidant)[punto_i_coma] each with specific properties and adapted for the following segments:
